  Not really. It was mainly because I had the chance to get a doctorate qualification (a ‘PhD’ or ‘DPhil’).. I decided that if I wanted to have a career in research then this qualification would really help in getting future jobs. You don’t *need* a PhD to do my sort of work, but it helps get the best jobs and gives you more opportunities.
  
  I miss Australia though.. hoping to go back one day soon!
