I am fascinated by the idea in quantum mechanics that nothing is determined until we measure it, and that everything is governed by random chance. It is so interesting that nearly anything is possible (even if it is very improbable).
I agree with Miranda. We don’t know if something even exists until we check for it. And even then it might not have existed at all until we looked and it randomly appeared.
But on the flip side I quite like the theory that all the particles we see are travelling through time, but anti-matter is the same particles travelling backwards through time- so does that mean the future has already been planned out?!
