      Hi Tom,

There are 3 main categories of cancer treatment:

      1. Surgery
      2. Medical treatment – drugs that kills cancer cells.
      3. Radiation treatment. Highdose radiation where the tumour lives – this is usually done when tumour is untreatable. It usually temporarily slows down the tumour growth and makes the patient comfortable.

There are other treatments as well, and new ones keep coming up. cryotherapy, for example, kills tumour by freezing the entire cells.
