      I started doing research in my second year of university, so I guess that’s when I really became a scientist.

      I wrote my first research paper in 2010 (it was about detecting spread of breast cancer). So it makes it 5 years.

      So I guess I called myself a scientist when I started my degree in physics in 2009. The first time I ever did research was as a summer job after my second year in 2011. So that is the first time I was properly a scientist I guess!
