• Question: Do you aim for your telescope to be famous like Hubble?

      That would be nice! But I doubt it will happen.. my telescope will be a very important part of astrophysical research, but people will probably only ever hear about the discoveries and not about the telescope itself.

      Hubble is rightly famous because it produces stunning photographs, and people can really relate to that. Of course, it’s very useful to scientists too.. Oh yeah and Hubble is in space (cool) whereas my telescope is on a volcano (no *quite* as cool).
