The size of a black hole depends on its mass. We consider the size of a black hole to be the size of its event horizon, the radius at which light will not escape. This is also called the Schwartzschild radius, and for a black hole the mass of the sun, this radius is about 3 km, and for one the mass of the Earth, it is only 9mm.
