• Question: I get most of my knowledge f4rom youtube (Thoughty2, Vsauce, ect.) Do you think you could be more well known if you got a youtube channel?

      Probably! At least among the general public. I have always thought about it but never really had chance to make anything and I would need to get some more creative types on board to help!

      I would definitely make some youtube videos though to go with my project if I won I’m a Scientist. My project is to create an app with loads of info about cool science inventions, ideas, technology especially the bits that everyone thinks is still science fiction. So maybe I will get youtube fame yet! =D

      It’s a nice idea.. I’d like to make some videos. Do you think people would find them though? It seems you need to put a lot of time and effort into promoting yourself to get lots of YouTube views.

      Though I am more interested in educating than in becoming well known, a Youtube video would be a good idea. Perhaps I will make one!

      Its a very clever idea. I did make a youtube channel a couple of years ago and got a couple thousand hits on my video. But they were viewed by specialists in my field only. ANd I didn’t make that many for lack of time.

      In principle, the idea could work if one could make videos in such a way that they appeal widely to scientists and to public. That’s a lot of hard work though.
